Open to students in the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology
Purdue Aviation Day is one of the highest visibility events for the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology (SATT) and is planned, led, and executed entirely by student leaders. Each role on the Exec Board is public-facing and requires interactions with a diverse group of stakeholders. Our team of driven individuals are passionate about elevating Purdue Aviation Day to new heights and have a history of working collaboratively.

Volunteer Lead
Open to students in the School of Aviation and Transportation Technology
Responsible and highly qualified SATT students are selected to lead groups of General Volunteers on the day of the event. Applying to be a Volunteer Lead is a great way to demonstrate leadership and gain valuable insight into the inner workings of a large-scale aviation event. Volunteer Leads receive specialized training and work with and report to specific Exec Board members. Volunteer Leads are expected to remain at the Purdue University Airport for the duration of the event. Roles include event parking, guest experience, photography, videography, monitoring the ramp, and more.

General Volunteer
Open to all Purdue students
Passionate and enthusiastic Purdue students take on diverse roles to ensure that Purdue Aviation Day runs as smoothly as possible. Signing up as a General Volunteer is a great way to get involved with PAD without a huge time commitment. Volunteers are asked to be present in their assigned positions for half of the day. Outside of their assigned shifts (morning or afternoon), General Volunteers are welcome to enjoy the event on their own time.
