We are thrilled to share exciting news about Purdue Aviation Day 2024!!!


For the very first time, Purdue Aviation Day will proudly host the A-10 Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team. Hailing from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Arizona, the Air Combat Command A-10 Thunderbolt II Demonstration Team showcases the exceptional combat capabilities of the A-10 "Warthog" at air shows nationwide.


The A-10, renowned as the Air Force's premier close air support aircraft, plays a critical role in providing essential protection to ground troops. During Purdue Aviation Day 2024, the team will dazzle spectators with precision aerial maneuvers while highlighting the mission and professionalism of the outstanding men and women of the United States Air Force.

About Purdue Aviation Day 2024


Purdue University’s School of Aviation and Transportation Technology is hosting Purdue Aviation Day (PAD) on Saturday, April 13th, 2024, from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Purdue University Airport. This annual event is a celebration of the Purdue School of Aviation and Transportation Technology, featuring aircraft on static display, educational programs, inspiring guest speakers, engaging youth activities, and much more!


We welcome community members, current/prospective students, industry partners, and aviation enthusiasts alike. Organized by student leaders, this event serves to connect and inspire the upcoming generation of aviators.
